Samay Raina said a day spent with family and friends is a productive day and it's so true.

Today, I was with Apoorv and Shaurya. Apoorv taught us the music theory, in the best possible way. Engineers can explain everyrthing in terms of mathematics and he did exactly that, Piano was a complicated instrument for me, but in a day he made me understand basics of it, and maths behind how music is composed on it, taught us how to find a key like C (C Major) and it's notes, how to play minor and major chors for that, backed with practicle and testing if we got it right.

that was the starting, then we jumped on logic pro to compose 'What I've Done by Linkin Park' from scratch. Started with identifing the Key and the notes for this song. creating melody in MIDI and using season player to play chors, base and drums. Adusting the octaves and patterns. also get to learn the quirks of Logic Pro. It was almost the same as original.

for the next part, he picked his electric guitar we finished the intro and chorus parts. once we were satisfied with it we moved to vocal recording. Started with intense vocal training, Apoorv and Shaurya recorded first part after multiple retakes, I skipped this for now ( it takes a lot of skills and energy to sing that song. Maybe will try next time.) and call it a day, will continue this mini project the next time we will meet.

Apart for great learning season we came to a reliasation that we were so good in sync, intrested in learning more and improve our jamming. They also shared that a long time ago they use to jam with band stage name 'Razor Blade Creeps' if things aling we may restart it :) let's see where things go.

we still need to finish this mini project and will upload it somewhere as well. till then i will be practice what I have learnt today.
