I have installed vault warden on my homelab years ago but never embraced it Fullly, but today I just migrated to it fully. Installed bitwarden client on my phone, got letsencrypt cert using dns01 flow. And replaced brave password manager and google password manager with it. The final nail in the coffin was I really loved firefox on Android and don't want to be locked in with brave sync or firefox sync and had vault warden running anyways. Now I have freedom to use any browser, any apps,.on any device without worrying about passwords..I don't remember passwords anyways. The best part is the passwords stays locally, so even if homelab goes down I will still have everything with me locally. So far I have noticed brave knew exactly which password I am looking for while bitwarden throws everything at me. Maybe turning on chrome autofill support will fix it but what about firefox? Let's see l, so far so good.
